Faculty Specific German Courses

Faculty of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering / Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology

The Department of Foreign Languages offers students of the Automation and Robotics as well as the Chemical Engineering Master's course of study a series of German language courses at various levels. Detailed information on the courses is available on our  online course platform.

If students of the Master's course of study can demonstrate a certificate to prove their German language skills at level A1.1 or A1.2 of the CEFR, the Department of Foreign Languages exempts them from a requirement to attend German as a Foreign Language courses. This exemption is recorded on a form, which is submitted to the Faculty.

  • BCI: Course hours or credit points are recognized through the exemption. Students exempt from the German as a Foreign Language courses are recommended to take part in other German language courses (higher levels) at the Department of Foreign Languages.

  • ET/IT: Course hours or credit points are not recognized through the exemption. Students exempt from the German as a Foreign Language courses must take part in other German language courses (higher levels) at the Department of Foreign Languages in order to receive the necessary number of credits.

 

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

For MMT students 2 courses are being offered: German A1 and German A2. Detailed information on the courses is avalaible on our online course platform.
